Camouflage Nights
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
In September Bonnie and I saw a band called Camouflage Nights play the Casbah. I had this goofy grin on my face for the entirety of the show. They were so much fun! I’d describe it as playful hip-hop crossed with infectious melodies and addictive beats, though I don’t know if that does them justice. The website for Pop Montreal calls them "dead cool T-dot hip-pop". I like that.

I would be very very surprised if you’ve heard of them: they don’t even have an EP let alone an album out yet. They do, however, have a single –"Skies Are Foggy". This said, it’s only on vinyl. So rather than going out to buy a turntable, I recommend you download the mp3
Is This Love? off their website.

PONG• a basic simulation of the racket sport of table tennis. A small square representing a ping pong ball travels across the screen in a linear trajectory. If the square strikes the perimeter of the playing field, or one of the simulated paddles, the square ricochets based on the angle of the impact. (Wikipedia)

Ohhhh the HORROR!!!

Aren't posters of old horror movies funny? I showed a couple of my downloads to Hannelle and she likes this one the best. It's a good choice. (That green is hideous).
